Cryostructure M16A1 Profile 80 % Receivers from Billet
Our goal was to make a small batch of 80% M16A1 lowers in order to reduce the overall cost for clones and from $550 to less than $200. We will be running a limited lot quantity of 100 units this year.
Our lower receiver matches the features of the original M16A1 Receiver. Perfect for a “Retro” or reproduction builds, these lowers are the same design profile of the M16A1. We are matching the profile and our machine times will be much longer than normal on this project because we are not using forgings but using solid billet 7075-T6 material.
Matching front takedown lug profile and profile surrounding the receiver extension. Most forged lower receivers produced today feature “A2” profiles, which are incorrect for M16A1 reproduction builds. The lower starts off as a solid brick of 7075-T6 aluminum , then is machined to exact dimensions of the lower. This item is left in the raw to do either COLT MOLY COAT grey, CERAKOTE or black anodizing after acid etching your logo on the lower. For a $50 upcharge we can custom deep fiber laser your markings on this display receiver and deliver it to you raw, moly coated, anodized or CERAKOTED.

Standard AR-15 & M16 components will work perfectly with this lower.
Completely UNMARKED as an 80% lower, perfect for any reference period clone build. Deep engraved marking will be done for $50 more with logo & text of your choice on this display receiver.
